Elizabeth and Daniel’s Wedding at Stockholm City Hall

Elizabeth from Singapore met Daniel from Sweden while they were studying in Japan. They fell in love, stayed in love, and after being in love for ten years they decided to get married. The top secret elopement wedding took place in Stockholm with a ceremony at the City Hall. It was just the two of them, I got to both document the ceremony and act as a witness. It was a lovely day with many smiles and lots of laughter. Elizabeth and Daniel, thank you for letting me be part of it! I wish you all the best on your new path in life!

The engagement session without the engagement

Linda contacted me and said she wanted to surprise her boyfriend Markus with a photo session for their 5th anniversary. An engagement shoot, but without the engagement.

What a great idea!

We headed out to Djurgården, a green oasis in the middle of Stockholm. This was the perfect place to shoot the couple who met through work in the sustainability business. They took a stroll over the fields, had a cozy picnic, and at the end they did some “work” in their favorite habitat. It was a great evening!

Fast forward to 2017 and the couple is now getting married! One month from today I have the honor of capturing their big day. I am really looking forward to it!

The weather in Stockholm is very weird at the moment. We have snow and sunshine at the same time, and budding trees and flowers are fighting hard to grow in the the cold temperatures.

It was a very different story when this photo session took place. It was a warm evening in April with beautiful light, perfect for exploring the woods and taking some portraits.

I really hope the spring of 2017 will shape up soon, I want more sunshine and flowers!

Chloe & Myles – On the Road of Love

This is Chloe and Myles on Hohliebeweg, which literally translates to “Road of High Love”. I do not know the origin of the name, but the couple did seem to be high on love. Chloe was working during the summer season in Adelboden, Switzerland, and her boyfriend Myles came all the way from the USA to visit her for their one year anniversary. If that isn’t love, what is?

Wedding Photography in the Land of Fire and Ice

All the cool photographers go to Iceland, that is a fact. So when my photographer colleague Emelie arranged a workshop in the Land of Fire and Ice I signed up immediately. I had never been to Iceland before, but I knew it would be great. To travel through these amazing landscapes with my photography friends and beautiful models, it could not be anything but fantastic!

These are pictures from our day with Gígja and Trausti, a newlywed couple from Reykjavik. They were great in front of the camera, and the weather gods were very good to us too. First we took pictures under a grey and moody sky, and then the clouds parted and a golden light spread across the fields. It was photography heaven!

I am definitively going to visit Iceland again, and I would really love to do it as a wedding photographer. So if you are reading this and planning a wedding in this beautiful corner of the world, get in touch!
